Leading techno artist Matthew Dear aka Audion is offering fans a chance to remix one of the biggest techno tracks of 2008, Audion’s ‘Billy Says Go’ on Spectral Sound.
The Audion ‘Billy Says Go’ remix contest has three phases:
1. September 9th - September 16, 2008 - Download phase - Download the remix parts, and get remixing.
2. September 16th - September 30, 2008 - Upload/Submission phase - Upload your remix to Beatportal at www.beatportal.com/remix. During this phase the entries can be listened to, but not voted for. The remix parts will still be available to download during this phase.
3. September 30th - October 14, 2008 - Voting phase - The public votes for their favorite remixes by ‘spinning’ them.
After a period of deliberation, the winners will be announced on October 30th, 2008.

“It’s a pleasure to give you these files to work on. I’ve included the original files as well as some re-edits to the core samples. My music has always been about sampling and re-sampling myself. The more you play with sound, the more unique it becomes.”
