Ne tot întrebăm în ultima vreme ce e, de fapt, lumea bună? E cumva locul în care toată lumea se respectă, se ascultă şi împarte tot ce poate fi mai frumos? Sau cine e lumea bună? Cumva oamenii civilizaţi care ştiu să-şi facă un viitor şi în acelaşi timp ştiu să se bucure de singura viaţă pe care o au la dispoziţie? Hai să fim serioşi. La noi lumea bună, înainte de orice, nu-şi pierde vremea cu a defini lumea bună. Ei se adună uşor pentru că sunt mulţi, iar tot ce au de făcut este să câstige concursul care e cel mai tare din lumea bună. Urmează acel şir dizgraţios de apucături care trece prin cluburile cu cod portocaliu la flatulenţe, shopping-ul şi acoperirea cu cât mai multe firme celebre, urmate de maşinile mari şi alte bunuri materiale multe, care de obicei înlocuiesc alte dimensiuni şi calităţi. Ce muzică ascultă lumea bună? Păi ce se dă la radio şi la tv, că dacă se dă acolo e bună, nu? Sau cum? Nu contează cum îi cheamă, sunt acum în top şi sunt foarte noi, ce le mai trebuie? Oricum oamenii din înalta societate n-au timp de muzică. Sunt ocupaţi până peste călcâi să umble sau să umple străzile toată ziua, să-şi rezolve treburile. Cine credeţi că îndoapă străzile de dimineaţa până seara? Înalta societate. Iar dacă nimeresc din greşeală la un concert, îi simţi după tonele de parfum cu care s-au dat înainte de a ieşi din maşină. Iar dacă cumva concertul este pe stadion, îi recunoşti după tocuri înalte şi tricouri mulate. Atunci cum rămâne cu cei amintiţi prima oară, care sunt exact opusul lumii bune care a prins rădăcini de nestrămutat. Cum să-i numim pe cei care, printre altele, cumpără cărţi, cd-uri şi bilete la concert? Cei care aşteaptă de-o viaţă să-şi vadă artiştii preferaţi sau primesc cu bucurie orice artist care poate să-i facă viaţa mai frumoasă. Eu zic să-i numim joasa societate. Pentru că sunt opusul înaltei societăti. Sunt cei puţini, toleraţi, toleranţi. Cei care acceptă valoarea ca referinţă de bază.

Nici ca se putea mai bine spus de atat.

WTF?!! Accesul la Internet ar putea fi controlat de Guvern / Internet accesc could be controled by the government

Accesul la Internet ar putea fi blocat total sau limitat şi monitorizat de către stat, prin intermediul furnizorilor de Internet, dacă proiectul de lege intitulat “Telecom Packet” va fi adoptat de Parlamentul European, până la data de 3 septembrie 2008.

 Scopul declarat al legii propuse de Comisia Europeană vizează reformarea sectorului telecomunicaţiilor. Pachetul Telecom cuprinde mai multe amendamente care vin să avantajeze serviciile telefoniei mobile, dar în acelaşi timp, aduc atingere unui principiu fundamental al utilizării internetului, şi anume libertatea.

În acest sens, cele mai controversate amendamente dau dreptul guvernelor să decidă ce programe pot sau nu pot fi folosite pe Internet pe teritoriul fiecărei ţări, de la interzicerea aplicaţiilor specializate pe file-sharing sau download de torrente şi până la interzicerea utilizării browser-elor (cunoscut fiind faptul că şi aşa se pot descărca materiale protejate de copyright) sau chiar restricţionarea totală a accesului la Internet. La trei abateri, furnizorul de Internet (ISP-ul) este obligat să nu mai permită accesul online. Nu se specifică însă perioada de restricţie a accesului la Internet sau dacă se impun şi alte sancţiuni.

Sa speram ca nu se aplica legea...

European politicians have voted in favour of amendments to telecoms law which campaigners say could be used to curb privacy online and file-sharing. 

The European Parliament voted in favour of the so-called "Telecom Packet". Although the law itself is meant to regulate the European telecommunications market, the amendments to the law target online piracy. 

If a web user is caught downloading or uploading copyrighted material on bit torrent trackers or any other file-sharing networks, ISP will be forced to ban him from accessing the Internet. This would happen after three warnings send to users notifying them that they are suspected of putting copyrighted works on file-sharing networks.

Jay Haze's Love & Beyond is out now free!

Jay Haze is pulling a Radiohead. The controversial producer is now allowing fans to download the second disc of his new album, Love & Beyond.

While Haze's three-disc set was originally set to hit stores in April, the producer stopped short at the last minute. "I recently realized that I wanted the absolute shortest distance between my soul and your ears. So, the spirit of the album's theme of LOVE, I have decided to skip the physical release and give away the album online," he writes on his website. Composed of 12 "futuresoul and R&B" cuts, this record may not be the normal fare for most RA readers, but with prices this low, why not? Besides, everyone needs to hear Jay Haze rap at least once in their life. 

If you like what you hear, Haze is offering up the chance to donate to his PayPal account. But, then again, how can you put a price tag on love?
